A few thing that I do optimizing my laptop and pc at home for better performance are the following.
  • Delete programs you never use
  • Limit how many programs load at startup
  • Defragment your hard drive
  • Clean up hard disk
  • Run fewer programs at the same time
  • Turn off visual effects
  • Add more memory
  • Check for viruses and spyware
  • Check for updates from the manufacturer
Lastly, if all steps are already been performed and no change have made. You may check local store for hardware upgrade. lols.

What's your optimization plans in increasing PC's speed/performance?
